Sunday

Book your seat at the Vondelkerk every Sunday at 9:30 am or 11 am.

You’re invited.

Sunday services

**UPDATE** Due to new Corona regulations, from Sunday 21st November 2021 you will need to pre-register to book your seat for both of our Sunday morning services.

Please book your seat here for either the 9:30 or 11:00 service. You will be required to wear a facemask but a coronatoegangsbewijs (corona passport) is not needed for entry. Please continue to follow the basic corona regulations.

If you are not able to attend in person, you can watch along with us on YouTube where we will livestream the 9:30 service each Sunday.

First time?

Coming along to a church service for the first time can be a daunting experience. At Liberty Church Amsterdam we welcome everyone to join us and aim to make every service as understandable as possible.

We start each service by singing a few songs of worship together (the words will be on a screen, so you needn’t worry if you don’t know them).

One of our team will deliver a 30 min (approximately) talk based on a passage from the Bible. Read more about what we believe about the Bible and Jesus.

The whole service will last for around 75 minutes and will be in English. Unfortunately, we don’t provide any translation at this time, but if this is an issue for you then please get in touch and we’ll see how we can help.

Irregular services

Occasionally we need to move either service time or venue to accomodate other events in the Vondelkerk. If you follow us on social media (FacebookInstagramTwitter), we’ll send out reminders in the lead up to each irregular Sunday. You can also subscribe to our calendar (ical/outlook or google) to add our services to your digital calendar.

Kids

We’re a church of people from all over the world, all ages and all walks of life. In particular, we love kids and have a number of families in the church.

**UPDATE** From Sunday 21st November there will be children’s work provision at both the 9:30 am & 11 am services. Please pre-register to book spaces for both you and your children. Please read below for full details:

Our morning services include separate activities for the children which are run in English. However, we aim to have at least one bilingual (Dutch & English) leader on the team each week.

At the 11 am service Liberty Kids is split into 2 different age groups: Blauw (4-7 yrs) & Rood (8-12 yrs). We also offer a creche room for parents with children from 0-2 and the Paars room (2-3 yrs) will be open also (both with a live video feed from the service).

At the 9:30 am service we are now offering a children’s programme (as of November 21st) for 4-12 yrs. We also offer a creche room for parents with children from 0-2 and the Paars room (2-3 yrs) will be open also (both with a live video feed from the service).
