We’re thrilled to announce that from the 8th January next year we’ll be moving out of the Mirror Centre and heading across the city to a new Sunday venue – the Vondelkerk.

The Vondelkerk is a beautiful church building situated right next to the Vondelpark on the west side of the city centre. The original congregation stopped meeting there in the mid-1970s and the building was subsequently redeveloped and turned into a mixture of office space and a venue for weddings, concerts etc.
A few other churches have met there for short seasons of time but for the past 3 or 4 years, it has been mostly vacant on Sunday mornings.
It seats around 200 people and has two separate breakout rooms which we can use for children’s activities.

This is a big step for us on a number of levels but we’re pressing forward in faith and can’t wait to get started. Please pray for us as the Apostle Paul asked the church in Colossae to pray for him in Colossians 4.3:
‘Pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ’
Due to a few existing bookings in their diary we can’t meet there every Sunday morning, on a few occasions we’ll hold an evening service there instead and on one or two other occasions we’ll need to find an alternative venue. However, on the vast majority of weeks, we’ll be there at 10.30 on Sunday mornings.
