On 7 June at 16.00, we will be having a special service in the Westerkerk, with all 3 of our services combining together.
What started as a problem (both of our usual Sunday venues were unavailable on the same Sunday) has transformed into a beautiful opportunity meet all together in this iconic Amsterdam church, thanks to the generosity of the PKN.
It is around the time of our 12th birthday and we have to much to praise and thank God for, even in the extremely challenging period we have been through in the past year.
Here’s everything you need to know:
- Doors open from 15.30
- Use the entrance under the tower
- Please bring something sweet (in a disposable container) to share after the service
- The kids will be joining us in the main service. We look forward to being all together as a church family and welcome all the enthusiasm (and a bit of chaos) that comes with our youngest members. Kids activity packs will be available.
- The service will be about 1 hour long, with a shorter message and more songs of worship than usual
- Parking is especially difficult in this part of the city, we recommend coming by bike or public transport
- The tram line that runs immediately next to the Westerkerk is currently out of use, so you will need to do a bit of walking through our beautiful city if you don’t come by bike
